Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) made a surprising accusation Thursday, saying he believes members of Congress are “compromised” by not providing public information about notorious sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.
Burchett’s comments came during a discussion with conservative political analyst Benny Johnson.
The couple was discuss a letter The lawmaker had written to House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) asking him to subpoena the flight logs of Jeffrey Epstein’s private plane.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) had previously pushed to subpoena Epstein’s theft records, but that effort was crushed by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin (D-IL), who suggested that the information had no public value.
Epstein, who was convicted of pimping a girl under 18 in 2008 and faced sex trafficking until his death, authorities say, by suicide in a Manhattan prison cell in 2019, he reportedly traveled by plane.
The jet earned the nickname “Lolita Express”.
Were members of Congress blackmailed over information about Epstein?
At one point in the interview, Burchett is asked point-blank if he thinks the information in Epstein’s flight logs is so difficult to obtain because of “compromise” by members of Congress.
In his questioning, Johnson leaves no room for ambiguity.
“So you’re saying this right now…there are members of Congress who have been compromised either by special interests or by the intelligence community to not give the American public information about Jeffrey Epstein? » asked Johnson.
“I believe so,” Burchett replied. “One hundred percent.”
Burchett goes on to lambast “unelected bureaucrats” in the intelligence community who he says have participated in other efforts to keep information out of the public square.
One only has to look back to Hunter Biden’s laptop or COVID-19 censorship efforts to see such cover-ups in action.
Johnson notes that “many (people) have speculated that Jeffrey Epstein was an intelligence asset” who would place famous individuals like Bill Clinton, Bill Gates or the royal family in “compromising positions”, leading to his own personal wealth and his power over these people.
Burchett responded that he viewed Epstein as a “free agent” who would say, “Hey, I have this guy and what are you going to give me to keep him secret?”

Who else was compromised?
Burchett and Johnson gave more details about former President Clinton during their discussion about Epstein.
Clinton had traveled on Epstein’s ‘Lolita Express’ 26 distinct timesaccording to a Fox News analysis, while others analyzes flight logs led to complaints about fewer trips. Regardless, it cannot be denied that he traveled on the plane.
Doug Band, a former top aide to Clinton, made shocking allegations in a 2020 interview with Vanity Fairincluding claims that the former president took a 2003 trip to Epstein’s famous private island.
Johnson says Epstein likely had “a huge trove of information about Bill Clinton” and even referenced the oil painting kept by the sex trafficker.
Epstein kept a disturbing painting depicting Clinton wearing red high heels and a blue dress hanging in his Manhattan home.
Podcast host Joe Rogan suggested that painting was kept there to remind Clinton who held the real power.
“This painting is like, ‘I got you, bitch,'” Rogan said. “You know he knows.”
“Imagine if I knew some horrible, dark secrets about you and you came to my house and I had a giant painting of you,” he continued. “Just when you walk in the front door in a dress and I say, ‘Hey buddy.’
“Do you think Jeffrey Epstein was killed because our intelligence agencies were upset by all this and furious that someone was able to get the better of Bill Clinton?” Johnson asked the Tennessee congressman.
“I don’t know if it’s our intelligence agencies or not, but someone with power,” Burchett responded. “You know… there’s always a diversion in these things. If you always look at ‘A’ and it’s always ‘A plus three,’ someone lower down that list would eliminate Clinton.”
“Because Clinton is just a tit,” he added.
Burchett even began to delve into the infamous Clinton death toll conspiracies, saying it was openly discussed in jest within the congressional gymnasium.
“They (fellow Democrats) laugh about it,” he said. “About the people who met their demise, who were close to them (the Clintons).”
