A number of nationally recruited prospects were in attendance during week two of OT7 Overtime in Dallas, Texas. Here’s the latest from Rivals’ national recruiting analyst Marshall Levenson.
Wilson, a former TCU And Oregon commit, has a bit of a new outlook on his recruitment after two previous pledges. The four-star player plans to be patient to ensure he makes a decision he will stick with.
However, as things currently stand, Texas A&M is in the right place. In fact, I put a FutureCast in favor of the Aggies this weekend.
Wilson, an elite receiver, commits to Oregonbut the Miami Hurricanes are taking a big step forward. Wilson spent his weekend wearing Miami gloves and cleats. His relationship with Hurricanes head coach Mario Cristobal is very strong and could potentially lead to some moves.
Arlington Seguin star Brown, a Louisiana native, spent time last week at LSU. The Tigers have not yet offered, but a staff member is expected to visit next week, where an offer is possible. If they offer, I like the Tigers’ chances.
Baylor is the next program I have in mind as spring progresses. The Bears were tough on Brown.
One of the elite prospects for 2026, Gregory has a group of powerhouse programs in his sights. Texas A&M, LSU, TennesseeAnd Colorado were in regular contact. Oregon is a program that he says is starting to gain momentum when it comes to communications.
He visited all of those programs this spring outside of Oregon, but he hopes to take a trip. He also mentioned Michigan as an upcoming visit. Gregory will use the football season as a great time to watch matches and experience teams and environments.
Speaking to Fegans, there are five programs in the foreground: Georgia, Clemson, Auburn, Alabama, and LSU. Fegans isn’t going to put a clock on himself and says he’s not sure what visits he’ll have next. He added, however, that if a visit makes him comfortable enough to commit, he will pull the trigger.
Program fit is one of the most important factors in recruiting one, Fegans says.
While still committed to TCU, there are two programs I’m watching for Hawkins, if they offer. Oregon and Alabama have both been in contact and if certain dominoes across the country fall a certain way, they might feel obligated to go after Hawkins.
He doesn’t have any visits other than TCU at the moment, but it will be tough for the Horned Frogs to hang on to Hawkins down the stretch.
Russell has been on the rise for months and top programs are in play for the EMS commit. Like Hawkins, Alabama is involved, although no offer has been made. Texas A&M was seen as a potential threat, but after landing Husan Longstreet, it’s unclear whether the Aggies will continue to advance.
As the quarterback board fills out, Russell could potentially be a major shake-up for a school in the long run.
SMU is currently generating buzz for Desoto’s standouts, despite a top eight that didn’t include them last season. Texas A&M is a school that has been talked about in connection with Reyes for some time, but I would side with the Mustangs right now.
There are some big names in the running for the 2026 Fort Bend Marshall stud. state of ohio, Texas A&M, Texas and Oklahoma are the four he mentioned by name. Williams will have a list of top schools coming in late spring or early summer.
He said he plans to commit after his junior season.
Indiana’s 2025 prospect Lebron Hill has some quality programs chasing him. Purdue, Kentucky, LouisvilleAnd Vanderbilt are the group that will now receive official visits.
As a prospect with both power conference offers and group of five offers, you can be sure he will end up in a power conference.
A cornerback from the Houston area, Davis tends to Louisville. The Cardinals have caught his eye and we could potentially see a decision made in the next 4-6 weeks if things continue in the current direction.
I recorded a FutureCast in late March for Davis to land with the ACC program.
