Brooke van Sickle scored a career-high 29 points, built around 23 kills, four blocks and two aces to help the Angels tie the Cool Smashers at 6-2. Van Sickle also showed off his defense after collecting 12 excellent digs and 20 excellent receptions.

Jema Galanza and Alyssa Valdez each had 11 points while Michele Gumabao, who started in place of Carlos, had 10.
Petro Gazz will have 10 days to prepare against another tough opposition in Cignal on April 16 at the PhilSports Arena.
