The last Ocean Eleven movie, Ocean’s Thirteenreleased in theaters in 2007. Since then, many rumors have circulated about various potential projects related to the popular All-Star Heist franchise, and there has been an official spin-off, 2018’s. Ocean 8which featured an all-female cast of stars pulling off a heist, with cameos from a few members of the original Oceans team.
Although all these years later it seemed like the franchise was all but over, that’s apparently not the case. Franchise star George Clooney said UPROXX that there is now “a very good scenario for another Oceans” and that as a result, the crew “could end up doing another one.”
Don’t call him Ocean fourteen.
“I don’t want to call it that,” Clooney added. “I mean, the idea is a bit like Go in style.”

Go in style is a 1979 heist film starring George Burns, Art Carney and Less Strasberg. The concept was a group of elderly people undertaking a heist. (The film was remade in 2017 with Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Alan Arkin.) George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon aren’t exactly Olds – Clooney is the oldest of the group at 62 – but any excuse to get it. a group of actors together seems like a good idea.
Ocean 11 was originally a 1960 heist film starring the members of the Rat Pack. Steven Soderbergh went on to direct the 2001 remake starring Clooney, Pitt and Damon, as well as the two sequels, The Ocean Twelve And Ocean’s Thirteenin 2004 and 2007. (directed by Garry Ross The ocean is 8.) Clooney didn’t explain what this possible new project would mean for the world.
