Some Fitting Tips for Plus Size Winter Coats
The right fit is crucial when purchasing a winter coat. When shopping, pay attention to these tips:
- Wear layers, a sweater or knitwear to ensure your jacket can keep you warm AND fit comfortably.
- Cross your arms in front of you and give yourself a hug. Your coat should be comfortable on your back.
- Button or zip the jacket. Move a little. Your coat should have room around your chest, hips and armholes. If there is any discomfort or pulling, size up. The goal is to protect you from the elements!
